The new Geely Boyue has been launched, and the launch event was quite striking, set in nature, with dense grass and casually arranged haystacks, showing a kind of wildness and a feeling of closeness to nature.

I know the official intent was to emphasize the poetic and distant mood of this car, but after seeing the changes in the 2024 model, it somehow feels like it actually matches the haystacks at the launch event...

First, the 2024 Boyue this time cut 7,000 yuan right away to show sincerity, directly lowering the price from the 2023 model's 99,800-125,800 yuan to 92,800-118,800 yuan. That is worth acknowledging, but it is also only natural. With market competition now so fierce, as a fuel vehicle, it really cannot survive without cutting prices.

But then look again, the local dealer quotes for the 2023 model seem to have already reached around 83,800-109,800 yuan, which looks even more attractive. Don't rush, though, let's first look at the changes in the 2024 model.

In terms of exterior, this is basically a game of spot the difference. Compared with the current model, there is not much change, but a new Aurora Purple body color has been added, and it looks quite good, plus there is also a Yaohai sport package.

The rear design is actually the type I like, with the same design language as the Boyue L, avant-garde and stylish, and the boomerang taillights are also very pretty. The rear diffuser and dual-sided quad exhaust are quite aggressive.

The interior is also a bit "unwilling to strive for progress," with absolutely no difference. Still, then again, I do approve of the Boyue's interior style. It has layering, a sense of design, sportiness, and fashion, and the texture is no problem either. The new Aurora Purple interior also matches the exterior very well, and there is also an Altay Cyan color scheme that is quite unique.

The main adjustments are in the configuration. The entire lineup has been upgraded to the Galaxy OS 2.0 system, electronic gearshift is standard, and all except the entry-level version are equipped with a power tailgate.

Compared with the old Friend version, the new Longteng version adds rear parking radar, a 360 surround-view camera, transparent chassis view, power adjustment for the driver's seat, power-folding mirrors, and more.

The Smart Connect+ version also gets quite a few upgrades, adding L2-level driver assistance, adaptive high and low beams, rain-sensing wipers, and more. The other two higher trim versions have not changed much.
