On November 17, news emerged that Geely Galaxy's high-end MPV has been officially named the V series, and the first model, the Geely Galaxy V900, will make its global debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show opening on November 21. The new car can be seen as the range-extender version of the Geely Galaxy L380, with a maximum pure electric range of up to 202 kilometers, and an expected price range of 300,000 to 500,000 yuan.

In terms of appearance, the Geely Galaxy V900 overall continues the exterior design of the L380, with a newly added sunken chrome grille on the front face, a continuous daytime running light strip on the upper part of the split headlights, the high and low beams hidden on both sides of the wave-pattern grille, and a newly added lidar on the roof, which may support higher-level assisted driving functions. The new car is equipped with hidden door handles and is expected to offer dual electric sliding doors. Its length, width, and height are 5360/1998/1940mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 3200mm, and the rear remains consistent with the Geely Galaxy L380.

In terms of power, the Geely Galaxy V900 is equipped with a 1.5T range-extender powertrain. The pure electric ranges announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology are 165km, 172km, 195km, and 202km, with a designed top speed of 190km/h.

Dada review: The Geely Galaxy L380 was formerly known as the Livan L380. After Livan Automobile was merged into Geely Galaxy in 2025, it adopted its current name. Its price ranges from 299,900 to 599,900 yuan, and it only offers pure electric power. The Geely Galaxy V900 is actually the range-extender version of the L380. The front faces of the two differ slightly, and the V900's intelligent driving functions may be stronger than those of the L380. The competitors of the Geely Galaxy V900 include the Li MEGA, the AITO M9 range-extender version, the Denza D9 DM-i, and the XPeng X9 range-extender version. By comparison, the Geely Galaxy V900 has larger body dimensions and more spacious interior room, giving it a certain market competitiveness. The market space for mid-to-large MPVs is limited, and more and more new models are entering, so future competition will only become increasingly fierce.
