On March 23, Chery officially released official spy photos of the new Tiggo 9. The spy photos show that the new Tiggo 9 is undergoing extreme cold winter testing. The new car's exterior has been noticeably optimized and upgraded, and it will continue to offer 5-seat/7-seat models.

In terms of exterior, combined with the previously exposed regulatory filing images, the new Tiggo 9 continues to adopt a large-sized grille, and the grille pattern remains consistent with the current model. The light source inside the new car's headlight assembly has changed, and the dual L-shaped daytime running lights look sharper. The air intakes on both sides of the front bumper adopt an integrated design with the grille, and their size is larger than that of the current model. The side of the new car adopts hidden door handles and multi-spoke wheels. Wheel sizes are available in 18 inches, 19 inches, and 20 inches. In terms of power, the model of the new car's 2.0T engine is SQRF4J20C, with a maximum power of 192 kW, and the officially announced fuel consumption is 8.15L/100km.

Dada Review: The Tiggo 9 is Chery's flagship SUV. Both the 2.0T engine and the 8AT transmission come from Chery. The chassis adopts CDC magnetic levitation suspension. The interior space is spacious and the cost-performance ratio is high. The exterior of the new Tiggo 9 has been noticeably optimized and upgraded, and the expected price will remain on par with the current model. The large-mouth grille is the signature design of the Tiggo 9, and the new model continues this design, with little overall change to the front face. The large-mouth grille + vertical waterfall-style grille helps enhance the vehicle's presence. More reserved consumers will not choose this kind of front-face styling. It is hoped that the new Tiggo 9 can offer more grille styles for consumers to choose from.
